VIII. Member comments:
Doug reported he attended the trustees meeting in Clearlake on October 11, 2004. Brian Jukes gave a report that attempted to diminish the importance of adjunct, stating in part that adjunct simply leave the district to teach elsewhere which is one reason more full-time faculty need to be hired. He did not address measures to make employment more attractive to adjunct in the district.
Dave requested and received confirmation that the parking pass drawings were done in Marysville and Lake at Fall orientation.
Discussion took place clarifying the various awards for years of service in Woodland’s Adjunct Recognition Committee.
IX. Next meeting will be at noon December 11, 2004 in Williams.
X. Meeting adjourned at 2:30pm.
Respectfully Submitted by Doug Harris, Secretary
